Simple file sharing in Windows 7 is pretty easy and common to be used to share file/folder with other users that use Windows XP, Vista or 7 in same workgroup. Due to other users are allowed to access the shared file/folder without doing authentication with username and password, and so we call it simple file sharing. Go to Control Panel from the start menu and click on Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center. A windows appears. Click on the Change adapter settings from the left sidebar.
