I currently have a U-Verse gateway in “bridge” mode with my Orbi(s) doing all the routing. I just ordered a CUJO firewall. Did I mess up? What is the right way to combine these three devices into one working network? It seems like this may be a huge headache. Any advice would be appreciated.

A local forum I monitor has had recent postings from customers unhappy with forced switching of their TV service from U-verse to DirecTV. One of the posters said they were successful at getting to keep their U-verse service for the time being, but were told by AT&T that U-verse TV would be completely phased out (at least locally, I presume) by the end of the year. Nov 08, 2013 · Recently my HP Pavilion DV7 worked fine, until my AT&T u verse modem went out. Now my laptop will power on, but all I get is a black screen. I tried the "hard reset", no power surges or storms recently and nothing else's was affected besides one of three dvr's in the house. My laptop is closest BTW, my DSL is at 15.500 feet so it is only 768K/128K, but the 1.5M capped download rate of U-verse just doesn't impress me as being that much better. I don't care that much about cable TV because I don't care much about sports.
